Bastions and Setup.exe

Hi,

I am preparing several NT servers for the internet, after hardening them
I reach a point where any Microsoft Setup.exe will not run giving me an
error message that they are not valid NT applications. I am following an
HP document for hardening which I can email in pdf format. Is it the
removal of Posix, os2 etc or Lls reg editing? any ideas would be
appreciated...
