Netscreen 5's work great for SOHO, plus it also has a cleaner UI
interface..

Previous versions of WatchGuard SOHO was based on Microsoft PPTP, which
had some minor glitches, but according to recent reports Firebox II has
corrected that issue

I use a WatchGuard SOHO for my SOHO. It is a filtering firewall, good
logging, easy to set up, easy to run. I've not (yet) used it for VPN, but
intend to soon.

Disclosure: I'm on WatchGuard's LiveSecurity Advisory Board.
