I have seen exactly this device requested (not in so many words, but as the subject of a research project with Microsoft and Cisco) by a fairly large client of ours, and if such a thing existed (at a reasonable price, naturally) I'm almost convinced they'd buy it.
I was under the impression that 802.1x support is built in to Windows XP and thus a network of XP and Cisco could take advantage of this technology today. That doesn't help us any here with our installed base but gives me hope for the future. -- Gary Flynn Security Engineer - Technical Services James Madison University Please R.U.N.S.A.F.E. http://www.jmu.edu/computing/runsafe _______________________________________________ firewall-wizards mailing list firewall-wizards () honor icsalabs com http://honor.icsalabs.com/mailman/listinfo/firewall-wizards
