From a quick search port 1239 is assigned to nmsd protocol.
NMSD protocol is used by a CAD/CAM system called Pro/Engineer sold be a company from Needham Massachusetts called PTC. Would that ring bells in your organisation? -----Original Message----- From: firewall-wizards-admin () honor icsalabs com [mailto:firewall-wizards-admin () honor icsalabs com]On Behalf Of Daniel Howe Sent: Fri October 25 2002 03:21 To: bonnetain () acm org Cc: firewall-wizards () honor icsalabs com Subject: Re: [fw-wiz] UDP 1239 ? Hi Pierre, check out this URL: http://isc.incidents.org/port_details.html?port=1239 Hope it helps, Cheers, Daniel.
Hello everybody, I've been seeing, for some time now, UDP paquets from my internal net trying to go outside, to some server (in the UK), using destination port 1239. Does anyone know what this port/protocol could be (or where I could find some more data) ?
