Incoming HTTP to multiple HTTP servers

Hello all: I have small Java boards running http servers ( with IPs 192.168.0.*, No DNS ) under a firewall/router with NAT. Only the router has a public IP. How do I send http requests to individual boards under the router? A. Is there a configurable firewall/router that can look at HTTP header info/URL to route it to particular MAC address under it? ( something like http://<<routerIPaddress>>/routercode.cgi?destination=192.168.0.100 ). B. If I do it with Linux , whats the best way to do it? Is something like HTTP-Proxy (Squid?) in DMZ running on linux a possible solution? C. One constraint with a Linux-based solution is that the deployment is in the middle of nowhere nearly impossible to deploy a Linux box where nobody goes for years. May be a self-hosted Linux board? Any suggestions there? Thanks and regards, Partha. _______________________________________________ firewall-wizards mailing list firewall-wizards () honor icsalabs com http://honor.icsalabs.com/mailman/listinfo/firewall-wizards
