Hummer, I don't know the Raptor firewall, but I'd bet there's a global setting outside the normal rule base that blocks packets directed at the firewall itself. Windows-based firewalls seem to take over most IP functions from the OS (and rightly so). I'd look outside the normal rule base for NT-host-specific firewall config settings. -David -----Original Message----- From: Hummer Marchand [mailto:HMarchand () co routt co us] Sent: September 25, 2003 11:03 AM To: firewall-wizards () honor icsalabs com Subject: [fw-wiz] snpp Hi, I have a question regarding a Raptor 6.5 on WNT4 I'm trying to set up SNPP to allow sending messages to my pagers. I have set up a gsp opening 444 and included it in the rule base, but I cannot recieve an ACK from the pager server. It seems that there is some port blocking that I cannot locate. Does anyone have any experience with this type of setup and can you offer any suggestions how to make it work?
