I know I'm asking a lot with this, but... I noticed that D-Link put out this neat little SecureSpot box that acts as an inline content filter, but it has annual fees, it only has licenses for 4 computers, it requires client-side agents for some functionality, and some people have reported that it slows down their network. It's also only $99. http://www.dlink.com/products/securespot/info/ So I figure, of course Cisco has something that does this already and find the ASA-5510 with the Content Security Module (CSM). Problem here is that it's some obscene amount of money to purchase one and it doesn't even come with the CSM for that price! Also, you'd probably want a full-time network admin and someone trained to operate it (not an option with my intended customers, maybe for someone larger). http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6120/index.html I want a device that can provide a clean pipe to a group of computers (lets say between 5 and 20), can do it without agents, and can do it for <$400 (preferably less). Also, I don't want to build it myself and I want it to Just Work. Sort of a middle ground between the two products mentioned above. Is there anything out there that meets those requirements? Thanks. -- Dan Guido ps. Apologies if this is the wrong list for this question. You can reply to me privately if that's the case. _______________________________________________ firewall-wizards mailing list firewall-wizards () listserv icsalabs com https://listserv.icsalabs.com/mailman/listinfo/firewall-wizards
