If you take a look at point 15 on the Kismet documentation (http://www.kismetwireless.net/documentation.shtml) you'll see that you can actually configure Kismet (generally considered the best open source wireless stumbler) in a Wireless IDS mode. It'll even support multiple notes aggregating to a specific console. I've never tried setting it up myself, though if it handles WIDS work as week as stumbling it should be up to most tasks. Not to mention you can't beat the price. Scott J. I know of a few WIDS's such as Airdefense RogueWatch and Airdefense Guard, is there more other then the freely available WIDS? I need to know if someone out there has good/bad working experience and knowledge of product scalability. Thanks for the immediate help...
