Don't let kids ruin it.We already have several moderated security mailing lists, like Bugtraq, VulnWatch, vuln-dev etc. Those are moderated for a very good reason, or do you prefer to receive mail written in 'leet speech', poems, stupid rants and CAPS email ? Not to mention virusses, SPAM, useless flames and oversized emails. Well, I do not. grtz, Marco
Then all hail the mighty power of the "unsubscribe" request and use the moderated lists. Simple ROI no ? I fail to see what all the fuss is about, it's not even as though anyone was fooled... or were they ?
From http://lists.netsys.com/full-disclosure-charter.html
"The [Full-Disclosure] list is unmoderated. Typically posting will be restricted to members only, however the administrators may choose to accept submissions from non-members based on individual merit and relevance. "
From http://www.dictionary.com/search?q=unmoderated&db=*
"adj : not made less extreme; "spoke with unmoderated harshness" " If you don't like to wade through all that to get to what you want, then don't... Then again anyone on this list that is vulnerable to viruses, HTML tricks, dodgy attachments et al, should question their being here IMHO.... ;-) Cheers.
