Re: Swen Really Sucks

Fact of the matter is that 99.999% of spammers out there have no where
near the ability to figure this out let alone set it up. Besides the
fact that we're really not talking about spam here in the first place
we're talking about virus propagation which I can pretty much guarantee
wont be using a valid from address.

If it's so "Terrible" why not mention something that's not "Terrible"?

Blacklist centric message system.

I haven't seen a single swen message yet. It doesn't solve the bandwidth
problem but at least it solves the problem of the messages appearing in
your inbox.

TMDA is terrible. A procmail recipe can easily autorespond, and then if
a spammer spoofs mail from an email address where someone's implemented
such a thing, the spam gets through and may even be whitelisted,
bypassing ordinary spam checking. The spammer could even set such a
system up and use its address for all from: addresses.

Terrible.
