Heya folks. Can I claim possible new Blaster type execution on Windows XP SP2 (Buid v. 2096)? Nothing reported by major vendors, but ... 1) clean, up to date NAV 2003, ISS Blackice 3.6 cci 2) booted machine up for about 5 minutes, no login. 3) recived a shutdown message on primary box, and a reboot with the old 60 seconds countdown. 4) ran shutdown -a 5) Dr Watson, BSOD. 6) post - no virus report, no BID logs report Has anyone received anything similar? Just one of those MS things - or a first case? Not running any network packet sniffers - just going to start doing that now... More later.
