House approves spyware legislation

Most courts look at the loss incurred by the victim. You have to be able to show what your loss was. While a single individual may not be able to do this or have a loss big enough to warrant legal action, a large corporation could in theory come up with an very large figure which would make an AUSA (Assistant US Attorney) salivate. Time will tell.
