Even the most rabid "block port-25 everywhere" can't agree that this is the right way to do this. As for the ~$60.00 we pay every month for "Business Class" service - what the hell is that money *buying*???Unless something in thier policy has changed, you can opt-out here: http://help.sbcglobal.net/legacy/abuseform/ worked for me.
Good. Hopefully it will work for us as well (yes, we filled it out earlier today). Nevertheless, it does not change the fact that SWb started blocking *BUSINESS* customers, *without warning of ANY kind*, while charging a significant premium for service, and without any mechanism in place to *immediately* reverse this change. In fact, SWB should have either announced this was coming in their monthly bill, and given everyone a chance to go elsewhere, or they should have had a pre-optout choice so that customers were not brought down without warning and without recourse. Fortunately for us we are only using this for office to datacenter connectivity, and can fudge a temporary solution to carry us through this: what about other small companies who actually *rely* on this as their primary connectivity?

We live in a social system whose community, wealth, love and life is derived from alienation, poverty, self-hate and medical murder - yet we tell ourselves that it is biologically and ecologically sustainable.
