I have been with this company about 5 months now and have had excellent service. The only problems I have had were this friday when they had some intermittent routing problems. OK that sending of the root password is a bit dodgy, but you dont actually have to send it when you open a ticket, as I never put it in. If I did need them to have it i'd probably ring them up. phased -----Original Message----- From: Thorsten Holz <thorsten.holz () mmweg rwth-aachen de> To: full-disclosure () lists grok org uk Date: Mon, 14 Mar 2005 12:29:09 +0100 Subject: Re: [Full-disclosure] Sago Networks allows use of root passwords inclear text channels

Consider this a recommendation to NOT use them if at all possible.Furthermore, we noticed that many Botnet C&C-servers are located within the network range of Sago Networks. So it seems that their incident handling is not perfect, too... Just my 0.02 cent, Thorsten _______________________________________________ Full-Disclosure - We believe in it.
