The guy has a prosthetic leg that apparently needs to be plugged in at
night. He gets drunk, forgets to plug it in, the leg doesn't work. Rather
than blaming himself (for getting drunk and forgetting to plug it in), he
blames the company. And writes them.

I think db really captured the average user's mindset on this one. I love
it!
