A very small effect indeed; a mortgage isn't something that you can draw cash out from, so why would a phisher phish a mortgageaccount? Ifind it hard to see how a phisher would damage you by payingoff all orsome of your mortgage. I suppose one could call this "reverse phishing"; people discovering your account details so thatthey can give you money.
In the US(and proibably elsewhere) there is a program called a HELOC. Home Equity Line of Credit. Its likely that some bank will eventually offer the ability to auto-billpay using your HELOC account if they havent already.. At that point, money becomes available to pilfer.. _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
