I don't believe they care about getting caught, I believe they care 
about liability.

I'm convinced that the big media companies are immune from believing 
they can do anything that harms their own business, in terms of lost 
customers.  Lawsuit payouts, and not getting "too" sued, they 
understand.  See: payola, price fixing, artist contracts, monopoly, cartel.
