I have to agree with Fergie on this, This has got to be one of the most idiotic things that a company like BP could possibly do. The argument that a user could connect to an insecured wireless hotspot is daft. It is possible to allow a user to use their company laptop to connect to a unsecured hotspot, but then you secure the comms and limit the fuctionality of the laptop.
