Virus Info Alliance == "new CME"?? (was: CME: A Total Failure)

Since we are on the subject, any comments regarding the Microsoft-driven "Virus Information Alliance"? Seems to me to 
be a malware sharing group focused on Microsoft specific critical viruses...
