He was open to the WMF exploit with a third-party picture program ;) You
weren't..lol

I would move away from Microsoft, to support the idea of an open and
viewable codebase. Microsoft is allowed to "miss" some of the most
simple security issues for years and years. Like the WMF. Of course,
*nix has security problems as well, but in general I rather have a UNIX
box directly connected to the internet, than a Windows box any day of
the week.

However, I am a firm believer that Windows box can be managed securely
if they are maintained correctly. Same goes for Linux, but if you take a
Microsoft Borg and give them a Linux box on the internet to secure, it
can be just as open as Windows 2000 SP2. After it is all said and
done..it comes down to the people behind the box IMHO.
