Makes perfect sense to me. I've always thought viruses and diseases, like AIDS, were nature's way of controlling our population. Then again, I don't think we're too stressful on the earth nearly as much as on each other. War and disease are necessary, required even. However, rather than taking an oath not to breed it would seem more important to find a way off this rock (which does have a death sentence - as does everything else in the universe).
