Is that some kind of joke? Or do you actually not know that speech and press are mentioned separately in the First Amendment? Or is it possible that you think the authors were sloppy, and accidentally wrote the same thing two different ways?
It means the right to gather news without government interference.
No one has the right to gather news any way they see fit - like picking through your dresser drawers.
I said the press is off the hook so long as they don't obtain evidence illegally.
