Curiously, I have not seen this story in any U.S. press (yet). Via The Sydney Morning Herald (AP). U.S. District Judge Edward Lodge rejected Ashcroft's argument that he was entitled to absolute immunity because his position at the Department of Justice was prosecutorial.
