A former government security guard has been convicted for his role in
an identity theft ring that used the personal information of more than
40 federal employees, authorities said.

Xavier Vidal Jennette, 33, of Washington, D.C., was convicted by a
federal jury in Raleigh on charges of conspiracy, wire fraud and
aggravated identity theft Friday, the U.S. Attorneys Office said in a
statement.
