in the nosupport directory of the SAVCE10 cd, they have IMO the best
app symantec has ever created: nonav.bat ;-)

works with every version _except_ 10 AFAIK

To be fair, Symantec was one of the only companies that never charged
extra for the removal of (spy/ad/mal)ware.
