I believe that only the newer buses like the Silver Line have GPS trackers.


Maybe the MBTA will provide some sort of XML feed of location data to allow
third-parties to provide additional services.

I would be far more impressed if they tracked Commuter Rail trains live and
allowed people to sign up for mobile notifications of any issues or delays.
Shouldn't be that much more to do.
