Many kids have an Invisible Friend. Fortunately, most kids can't order
an invasion of a sovereign country when their Invisible Friend tells them
that the country has weapons of mass destruction....

That's an interesting trick to tweaking an argument in your favor.
Avoids that whole messy discussion of everyone believing that Sadam
had nukes - including Sadam's own cabinet (one of which was a spy for
us). I guess you can completely ignore the fact that Sadam used WMDs
against the Kurds and Iran, which proves that he had them, as well.
The downside to this kind of arguing, however, is that its not much
fun for those who wish to disagree with you, leaving them with only
smug confidence in their superior analytical skills rather than the
blissful taste of having chewed up a liberal, self-hating, US-hating,
FAITHful follower of the always wrong, never RIGHT political
party....which ever that party may be today (Green, Yellow Dog,
Centrist...).
