JP was a friend.

Sure, he was young, but was wanting to learn and did a lot to
pursue those efforts -- we used to chat a lot.

This whole tragedy really touched my today in several ways, at
several different times -- the last time when I saw his key cached
in my OTR proxy list.

Silly kid.

It's just kind of amazing how you just don't seem to have the
right words sometimes to express your... sorry.

I noticed that the Atlanta Journal Constitution has a brief article
up on Dude's passing, with a link to a guestbook at the funeral home
where his services were held:

http://www.legacy.com/Atlanta/Obituaries.asp?Page=LifeStory&PersonId=102891
429

(Thanks to Ryan N. for pointing it out.)

It might be nice to go and write a brief not or whatever if you
feel like it.

For me, I dedicate this song to Dude tonight:

'Shine on, You Crazy Diamond'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyqgjCKm9nQ

We'll drink a beer or two for you, JP.

A toast to Auld Lang Syne.
