OT: or maybe not - SP3 and USB?

Having obtained as much info as I could about the SP3 net bug, with much fear and 
trembling (and an up to date backup) I downloaded and installed same, plus the 
subsequent security updates.

Lo and behold, my net connection didn't stop working.  Home free!

Well, maybe not.  Anybody hear of problems with SP3 and USB?

My old Sony camera still shows up.  The new Olympus (complete with a few 
dozen pictures of Ryan graduating to Black Belt) doesn't anymore.
