The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office plans to introduce parents to ComputerCOP software this morning. Parents will be able to use the software to monitor the sites, photos and conversations children are having online with this software - a key element in preventing those children from being preyed upon by internet predators. The software is already being promoted by Sheriffs in at least two other Florida counties, according to ComputerCOP's website. Officials in Polk and Citrus county have offered parents the softward for free, according to video testimonials on the site. Palm Beach County Sheriff's officials plan to introduce the software at a 10:30 a.m. press conference. Details about how parents can get the software will be available then.
