was the internet lost?

Much to do about the DNS flaw. Much to do about Dan. Suddenly he is a celebrity, icon, the man known as "The one who saved the Internet". Everyone wants to know where he came from, who he worked for, what kinda clothes he wears, who he hangs with. Will he go down as an Icon like Vinton Cerf, Robert Kahn, Tim Berners-Lee, mitnick, etc., etc. Is this the find of all exploits? If DNS can be exploited will the exploiter own the internet? If a patch can patch how many paches can a patch patch? Will there be an end or start of a new beginning. Will we move to something beyond the "Web". Will this be forgotten or always remembered. I'm bored. -- RandallMan ---------- "Never tell anyone how old you are. If you do, they will believe only so much of what you have to say" --Mudge
