School Closings due to weather

My Northern Friends are going to enjoy this.

Because the weather forecast YESTERDAY said there was a "Winter Freeze
Warning" in effect for this morning, my daughter's school went ahead
YESTERDAY AFTERNOON and announced that school would not start until 9:30
AM (instead of 7:40).

This morning's temperature is 31 degrees Fahrenheit.

The local traffic coverage is showing they might have been right.  There
are wrecks all over the place already!  Clearly my Southern Friends have
no clue what to do on an icy bridge.
