Fox is no more Faux than the rest of the infotainment industry. They

Ah, yes, the pig who arrested Gates for not being sufficiently deferential
to an armed racist with a badge invading his home. How dare a black man
in America get uppity in his own living room, indeed!

Of course, were the police force not dysfunctional, his own colleagues
would have been the first to call him out -- recognizing that jerks like
this are an embarrassment to officers who actually conduct themselves
properly, and a serious detriment to effective police work in the community.

Then again, this is the Boston area, where police forces regularly
demonstrate that when it comes to incompetence and overreaction, they
are determined to lead the nation. Recall the entire ATHF incident,
in which their pervasive stupidity was put on display for all to see.

Back to the news, Fox is clearly the worst of the worst and by a HUGE margin.
They've dropped all pretense and are content to be just another propaganda
arm of the Party of No and a support group for psychopaths like Glenn Beck.
Although, in fairness, Lou Dobbs on CNN is certainly doing his best
to come up with enough xenophobia, racism, bigotry and idiocy to compete.
(And is there actually anyone left on the planet who's so abysmally
stupid that they can watch Nancy Grace for more than ten seconds?)
And MSNBC keeps providing airtime to wanna-be KKK member Pat Buchanan,
and of course Scarborough is just another vacuous twit. (At least they
have Rachel Maddow, who is astonishingly intelligent and clearly one of
the sharpest political analysts anywhere.) And CNBC? Please. Apparently
the "greed is good" movie line has become their credo.

Edward R. Murrow, come back. And bring your ass-kicking boots, please.
