yeah...started that but found yahoo to be just that concerning this...a yahoo. was really hard to find the answer! Kept getting "log in to your account then to change password"!! Found face book too thanks to all who helped. now I imagine we need to to a police report also. she was on a mac and I am still questioning what, where who, to get to the bottom of how. She lost access to her social sites and her bank account was cleanned out. I have her now scanning with a checker and dns-changer remover just in case. Koobface is only thing I know of she could have been hit On Sun, Aug 9, 2009 at 11:35 AM, Richard Golodner<rgolodner () infratection com> wrote:

The person cannot access any of her password protected sites (email, FB, bank, etc). Police said contact them. I am looking for it now but thought someone on the list had them handy. Has the "stranded" spam gone further to also providing a link that installs? That is so far what I have been able to get out of her..waiting on call.Start with Google and use the resources Yahoo and Facebook provide. You need to get this started as it will just get worse as you wait. Yahoo Security Center may help too. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/security/ Unfortunately, you have to do it on their time. Good luck! Richard
