Drupal

I'm involved with a project where we're considering using Drupal. It's
not my idea, but that's partly because I'm unfamiliar with it. 

 

Does anyone know how much security scrutiny goes into the core and
modules that go up on the Drupal site? There seems to be a fairly steady
stream of vulnerabilities reported, although I don't know if that's a
good thing or what the severity of them is.
