Wow! I am not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

Short term, I think it will be good. It will give the metasploit team more
resources (hopefully, especially time) to put into the project. It may mean that
release 3.3 goes from dev to stable faster. I would also hope that it means that
commercial support for metasploit becomes available quickly.

Longer term, I fear that it may cause metasploit to suffer the same fate as
nessus. However, the fact that it is written in ruby may limit how much they can
close the source without an extensive rewrite into another language.

At a minimum, I am very happy for HDM that he finally got someone to fund this
wonderful project. I am just surprised that Breaking Point did not do so years
ago! Their loss, I guess.
