Infraguard has done great work it does in some areas (and produced rather mediocre efforts in others). http://news.yahoo.com/s/ac/20110606/us_ac/8590775_fbi_related_infragard_infilt rated_by_lulzsec_hackers http://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2011/06/04/infragard-atlanta-an-fbi-affiliate- hacked-by-lulzsec/ What I find interesting is not the hack, but the related attack on a security firm/consultant (depending upon which story you read) who was also attacked due to the passwords obtained in the Infraguard attack. Somebody's been using the same password on multiple sites ... (As one story says, a violation of Infraguard policy ...) ====================== (quote inserted randomly by Pegasus Mailer) rslade () vcn bc ca slade () victoria tc ca rslade () computercrime org Twitter: the bumper sticker of the Information Age - rms victoria.tc.ca/techrev/rms.htm http://www.infosecbc.org/links http://blogs.securiteam.com/index.php/archives/author/p1/ http://twitter.com/rslade _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
