It's an interesting result, but not likely to make much real difference. Basically, they're pointing out that most estimates of a crypto system's strength assume that keys are basically white noise, while in practice they're usually a colored noise, and you can leverage the difference to make it a bit easier to crack. Of course, this is basically what password cracking programs have been doing for decades now, when they apply heuristics to what passwords and variations to try first.
