Yeah.  People get cute when naming the DNS servers to be used by DNS glue
records.  It's been that way for at least a quarter century, I think.

Thanks. I'm looking up the glue records now and to understand how they
are affecting this...

Its kind of surprising (to me) the tricks are allowed to be played at
all, especially for high profile sites like microsoft.com, google.com
or apple.com.
