The network address 204.15.5.160 is correct. With in the same subnetmusk, you can use 204.15.5.33 to 62 , 65 to 94 , 95 to 126 , 129 to 158 and 161 to 222 ip address. regards, On Wed, 2003-11-12 at 08:28, James Chong wrote:
Hi all. I am quite new at using honeypots and am using honeyd but had some problems. Hope you can help. Lets say I am using IP 204.15.5.165 and subnet mask 255.255.255.224. Is my network ID 204.15.5.160? Cos I need to know to configure snort. Also, assuming that there is no more unused IP in my network, how can I use honeyd? What do I need to do? Thanks a million James __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Protect your identity with Yahoo! Mail AddressGuard http://antispam.yahoo.com/whatsnewfree
