Hi all, I though the following information could be of your interest. SANS has released a new security training course titled "Deploying GenIII Honeynets": http://www.sans.org/staysharp/description.php?tid=354 The "Deploying GenIII Honeynets" course will give you the skills necessary to deploy, configure and manage your own GenIII Honeynet using the latest open source Honeywall version, "Roo". It also gives you the opportunity to attack your own GenIII Honeynet solution, being able to visually analyze and investigate the incident, including the large amount of information collected, so you could get the most of the "Roo" advanced data analysis capabilities. There are two sessions currently scheduled: - Madrid, Spain - February 9, 2006: (dry run) http://www.sans.org/staysharp/details.php?id=1389 - Orlando, US - March 3, 2006: http://www.sans.org/sans2006/description.php?tid=354 Stay tuned for new upcoming sessions during 2006! ;-) -- Raúl Siles GSE www.raulsiles.com
