If a Windows 95/98/ME user opens it, will his or her system begin to spread the worm as
well?
yes....and, in both cases, will infect through open shares and once the machine is restarted, will spread thus from that machine.
Does anyone know whether or not the only way to infect a 98 machine is via scripting? I mean, does the worm attempt to remote-shag anything other than Win2k/IIS machines? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This list is provided by the SecurityFocus ARIS analyzer service.
