Several days ago one of CISCO's senior people held a reception for the ISOC
(Internet Society) Trustees and Advisors in her wonderful house near twin peaks
in San Fran. The best part of the evening, even better than a splendid sunset,
was a performance by a group of Seniors from the Cupertino High School. They
had just returned from Japan and I tour of four cities. The group sang
beutifully. They were personable bright young people of a spendid mix of ethnic
backgrounds -- second generation koreans, chinese, japanese, blacks, and a
forth generation californian lead by a very fine black teacher. Best exmple of
America I have seen in years.

They have been doing this for 12 years` Unfortunately that is all over this
year. Budget cuts in the Cupertino area will terminate this group and both
California and other countries will miss a chance to hear excellent singers and
an example of America and its youth. Sad!!!!!
