The agreement with National Information Bureau Ltd., or NIB, will allow computer users with a modem-equipped personal computer or compatible equipment to obtain NIB credit information by calling a local CompuServe number. NIB, of Princeton Junction, N.J., provides access to the major credit reporting services for consumer and commercial information. CompuServe members will be required to clear several levels of security to gain access to the credit records, CompuServe said in a news release. Other data available through the service will include information from departments of motor vehicles, and records on workers' compensation, real estate, taxes, crime and employment. Columbus-based CompuServe provides networking services, electronic mail, business information services and software to major corporations and government agencies worldwide.
