I am surprised how many people I have talked with in the NII crowd have not
read Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson ISBN # 0-553-56261-4. It is an excellent
paper back -- current sci fi type. It describes a world where America
excels in music, movies, Micro-code and high speed pizza delivery. It
describes a synthetic world called the Metaverse where people live via
their computer access.


Well worth reading, fun and a bit to close for comfort
