"Shadows of the Mind," the title of both the talk and his recent book, examines
questions of human thinking and human consciousness. Among Sir Rogers
surprising conclusions are that the brains functions are
not at all similar to a
computers, and that to understand consciousness on a
physical level will call for
an expansion of our understandings of physics. This talk
is free and open to the
public.
