But from the sedate quarter of railway modelling, a storm is brewing which could form the unlikeliest challenge yet to the relentless, development of cyberspace. Faced with the incoming tide of global communications, Railway Modeller, the hobby's bible, has decided to take on the role of Canute. Without warning, the magazine told advertisers, many of whom had previously included Internet addresses, that the publication of URLs was banned.
