The conference will start with two days of tutorials, and will continue with two days of technical presentations, poster presentations and demonstration of projects. As with the previous conferences, SICON'98 will provide a forum to discuss the recent advances in computer networks and communications, and distributed systems. Dr. Steven Goldstein from National Science Foundation, USA will deliver the plenary lecture at SICON'98. The closing date for Early Registration for non-speaker participants is June 1, 1998. Thereafter, all registrations received will be considered as On-Site Registrations and no acknowledgment will be issued. 3. Registrants are only confirmed as participants of the Conference or Tutorials when registration is received with the registration fee. 4. Payment may be made by cheque, bank draft. Cheques and bank drafts must be in Singapore Dollars and drawn on a Singapore bank. 5. The registration fee includes luncheons and coffee breaks for the applicable days of the Conference/ Tutorial sessions. 6. Fifty percent of the registration fee will be refunded if a written notice of cancellation is received by 1st May 1998.
