Dave for IP.

Internet looking good re. Y2K so far. The Japan Internet Y2K
coordination center has teams of 20 or so engineers monitoring the
Japanese and Asian net.

Other sectors, Japan seems fine.  Telephone congestion, particularly on
the mobile networks, but after the initial rush when folks called to
send New Years wishes, they are also back to near normal.
