The Computer Science and Telecommunications Board is about to release a new Internet report. _Broadband: Bringing Home the Bits_ addresses the technical, economic, and policy challenges involved in expanding residential access tobroadband. A press conference will mark the pre-publication release on ThursdayNovember 29 at 11:00 a.m. EST (see info below on Webcast); a public briefing will be held on the afternoon of December 18 (logistical details will be available from D.C. Drake ddrake () nas edu); and books should be printed in late January.This report is the latest in a series featuring _The Internet's Coming of Age_,_The Unpredictable Certainty_, and _Realizing the Information Future_.
